PTA September Newsletter
Welcome to the new school year!
The MMCA PTA has two main goals this year:
1. Bring the MMCA community together to raise money for activities and programs not fully funded through the school by educating MMCA families about the importance of family engagement; and, increasing and strengthening volunteer participation at PTA events and fundraisers.
2. Support the MMCA community in funding supplemental enrichment activities such as art and garden docent programs; and provide for the installation of a new audio system for the multi-purpose room.
Join us at our first General Meeting on September 30th to learn more about PTA-sponsored events and fundraisers. The meeting will be held just prior to our first event – Family Dance and Pizza Night – hosted by PTA.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
PTA is looking for 6-8 energetic volunteers to obtain auction and raffle items for our Breakfast with Santa Event (December) and Auction Event (April). Volunteers can distribute request letters and follow up at their convenience during the school year. Individuals will earn 40 volunteer hours for helping PTA!
