Before & After School Care Program

There is an annual registration fee of $55 PER FAMILY, made payable to MMCA. This fee is to be turned in with your enrollment paperwork. This fee covers the costs of the games, activities, and materials the program offers.

*Registration fee will be billed at the 2nd use of Before/After Care - including late pick-ups)

Our Traditional School Day After School Care schedule:

3:10 – 3:45             Check in, outdoor play

3:45 – 4:00             Snack time (parent provided)

4:00 – 4:30             Homework time, quiet play, reading

4:30 – 5:30             Play time, games, organized activity/craft

5:30 – 6:00             Clean up and quiet time

If your child is not picked up by 6:00 pm, there will be a fee of $2 per minute that will incur until you pick up your child.

 

School gets out at 3:10 pm. Pick up is from 3:10 to 3:25, which should give you ample time to come and get your child. If you are not here by 3:25 to pick up your child, they will be “enrolled” in after school care. You will incur a cost of $6 if you arrive between 3:25 and 3:45 pm. You will need to park your car and sign your child out of after school care. If you arrive after 3:45, you will be charged the daily rate of $13 for after school care. Hopefully this will curb the late pick ups at school.

With school starting at 8:30, the earliest you can drop your child off at school is 8:10 am for them to be supervised on the playground by MMCA staff. If you are dropping your child off any earlier than 8:10, they will be placed in before care and charged the before care rate of $10 per child per day. At 8:30 they will be released to go to their respective classrooms.

 

If you want to have your child attend our before and/or after care program, fill out the enrollment form and calendar, and mail with your enrollment fee of $55 to: 1850 Wildcat Blvd. Rocklin, CA 95765 ASAP.

FREE AND REDUCED FEE OPTIONS/ELO-P and our Before / Afterschool Care Program

Recently, California has added a requirement that schools make available to students the opportunity to be at school for at least (9) hours per day, as well as provide opportunities to be at school during extended breaks.  This requirement will be known as the ‘Expanded Learning Opportunity Program, or ELO-P’.  While the new mandate is now in place, the funding received is based on school size, so for our school the funding provided is somewhat limited.  

Beginning in 2023, we will be using our ELO-P funding to provide FREE child care within our Before/Afterschool Program and our MMCA Summer Camp Program for students that are eligible.  For students that are not eligible, we will continue to provide these services on a paid fee basis.

Who will be eligible for free enrollment in our Before/Afterschool and Summer Camp programs? 

Student Eligibility for free ELO-P based Enrollment in the MMCA Before/After School Care Program and/or free ELO-P based Enrollment in MMCA’s Summer Camp Program:

• Elementary-aged students enrolled in MMCA.

• Students eligible for free or reduced-price lunch.  Applications for free/reduced meals can be found HERE.

• Students classified as Foster Youth. 

• Students experiencing homelessness.
