2nd General PTA Meeting
FEBRUARY 1st at 6:15 p.m., Library
February 1st: PTA General Meeting. Everyone is welcome to attend! And feel free to bring your children because the popular Science Wizardwill be there to entertain the children – no cost! Drop off your children in the Multi-Purpose Room at 6:00 p.m. and then head over to the library for the meeting at 6:15 p.m.
Attend our 2nd General Meeting of the year and see how your talents can help our school! If you are not a PTA member, please join!!!Some benefits: Discounts with your PTA membership card, free coffee cup, and most importantly, be a voice in your school!If you have any questions about PTA, please talk with one of our Executive Board Members or check out the PTA binder in the front office for budget, by laws, and goals. February 1st: Third MMCA Uniform Exchange. The next Uniform Exchange will be held at the PTA General Meeting on February 1st. The upcoming winter break will be a great time to clean out your children’s outgrown clothes and donate to the program. Gently used uniforms can be turned in to the school office collection bin. All items of clothing will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for $1 each.

SANTA BREAKFAST
Santa Claus will be visiting the MMCA campus on Saturday December 10th
For MMCA PTA’s 4th Annual Breakfast with Santa
Join Santa for a pancake and sausage breakfast, holiday crafts and raffle.
All for the low price of $5 a ticket!
Pictures with Santa will also be available for $5
PayPal available for $.50 extra
This year there will be two seatings so no long lines for pancakes!
The first seating will be 8am to 9:30am
and the second seating will be from 10am-11:30am.
There will be limited tickets available for the first seating
so be sure to get your tickets early.
TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT MMCA AFTER SCHOOL

SCHOOL WIDE BOOK EXCHANGE
During lunch/recess break for each grade level, including Children’s House.
THE BASICS: Bring in 1-5 gently used books your child no longer reads, and your child can then choose 1-5 new-to-them books!
Get rid of some books no longer needed, receive new reading material for free, everyone wins!!!

FALL FAMILY DANCE! (and UNIFORM EXCHANGE!)

A night full of fun, dancing, games, goodies, and more! MMCA students and their siblings/parents/families are welcome!
PTA and Montessori Explorers are co-sponsoring a Fall Family Dance on Friday, October 21.
Admission is free!
From 7-9 p.m., the dance will have the fantastic sounds of a professional D.J. for the event!
Tasty treats will be available at very reasonable cost.
Bring your dancing shoes…or dancing socks, for a super fun time!
All members of the MMCA community are invited to attend!

***Next MMCA Uniform Exchange is Friday October 21st at the Fall Family Dance at 7PM in the Multi-Purpose Room***
Did you miss out on our first uniform exchange at Back To School Night? Our next sale is at the Fall Family Dance on October 21st. Please take a look in your child’s closet and see what cooler weather clothes aren’t fitting anymore, make your list, donate your outgrown items in the collection bin at the school office (if you have any), and shop at the dance while the kids are having fun! Remember, everything is ONLY $1. Cash and checks payable to MMCA PTA will be accepted.
All gently used uniforms that are in good, clean condition and meet the schools dress code guidelines will be accepted. This includes:

Boys and girls white, light blue, navy blue, or forest green tops (Shirts, Oxford, polo, turtleneck, Tshirts, blouses or MMCA logo attire)

Navy blue or tan khaki bottoms (jumpers, skirts, capris, pants or shorts)
-
Navy Blue sweater, cardigan, vest or other outerwear
-
MMCA sweatshirts.
This is not a one-for-one exchange program. You are not required to turn in any clothing to participate, but we do ask you to donate good, outgrown uniform clothing that you do not need. All items of clothing will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for $1 each.
