Mission Statement
Maria Montessori Charter Academy Preschool was founded in August 2009 by the Maria Montessori Charter Academy. The mission of the Maria Montessori Charter Academy Preschool is to provide a Montessori-based educational environment which has the tools, programs, re
sources and support to enable students to become educated to high international academic standards and to develop themselves to their fullest capacity as competent, happy, productive individuals, family members, workers, and contributors to a better society and a peaceful world.

School Hours and Daily Schedule
MMCA Preschool is open from 8:15am-1:45pm Monday through Friday. Please see the school calendar for school holidays.
After Care is available from 1:45pm until 5:30pm for our preschool students. Arrangements can be made ahead of time and included in your monthly billing or it can be used on a drop-in basis if space is available.

Tuition Schedules
For the 2012/2013 school year, Full Day/5 Days per week $630.00 per month
If you will be using After School Care (ASC) from 1:45-5:30, there will be an additional daily charge of $17.00 per day. If your child is a sibling of a MMCA 1st-8th grader and you would like to pick your preschooler up at 3:10, your may enroll him/her in ASC from 1:45-3:10 for $6 per day. Drop-in use of ASC will be billed at $3 per half hour on a space available basis.
Enrollment Checklist
Unlike the MMCA Elementary program, which is lottery-based, enrollment in the MMCA Preschool will be on a first come, first serve basis. For the 2012-2013 school year, we will enroll on a first come, first serve basis for students eligible to enroll in Kindergarten the following school year (2013-2014). This applies to students with a date of birth on or before 10/1/08. Students with DOB after 10/1/08 that will be at least 3.5 by the time school starts may turn in an application and we will contact them if space is available on or around 5/1/12. This will only apply to kids with DOB from 10/2/08 thru about Feb 2009.
If there is an opening, the following documents must be completed and submitted to the School before your child will be allowed admission:
- Signed Admissions Agreement
- Enrollment Form
- Emergency Card
- Student Health Inventory
- Report of Health Examination for School Entry form to be completed by your child’s doctor or medical advisor
- Acknowledgement of Parent Handbook (page 13 of handbook)
- Copy of Immunization Record
- Birth certificate
- A $50.00 non-refundable registration fee
